After Mary did
THIS a couple of months ago, Gracie started down a somewhat startling line of questioning - do red-haired girls lose their hair? does anyone donate red hair? is
my hair long enough? To which I answered: look, Elvis! Oh, wait, you're 7 - look, Mickey! Monkey bars! Hopscotch! Markers! Books! Let's forget about all of this and go get ICE CREAM!! Ok, so I said that not a lot of people HAVE red hair to give, so probably not a lot. Which brings us to the following set of photos:

I apparently have much more attachment to hair than my daughters, because I seem to be the only one who sheds a tear. Partially because I'm still traumatized from always having boy short hair growing up; I do love long pretty hair. My girls have short hair and big hearts.
And I'm especially glad for their big hearts come hair-brushin' time!

Oh, she is a TOTAL DEAR!
I'm glad you let her cut it.
Her hair was gorgeous, imagine how happy some little one will be to have such pretty red hair! And she looks fantastic with her shorter hair.
Some little girl is going to be so happy to have that gorgeous hair! Way to go!!!
What a wonderful gift! Great job, Mom. (That girl is getting soooo grown up looking!)
SUPER JOB, SUPER KID!!!! And holey moley she looks like a little lady now...uh oh! I do love the huge hearts those girls have. Way to go, mom.
Wow! We'll get to see it live on Wednesday. It still looks great. What a kind heart, Gracie!
She looks adorable with short hair! What a precious girl.
My mom always had me keep my hair cut sooo short when I was young. I think that's why I'm nearly 35 with terribly long hair. Your girls are beautiful and it's their choice. I love that. You rock.
Beautiful. Inside and out.
SHe has gorgeous hair, whether long or short. What a good girl she is to want to donate it!

I love her new "do"
I'm glad you let her cut it.
