I have to politely disagree with the 'study.' Obviously, it's very hot here but it's not like you're constantly covered in sweat - it's also so dry it evaporates almost immediately. That doesn't happen in the midwest or the 'dirty' south...the sweat just stays on you and you have to shower 2-3x/day and change your clothes that much, too!
My sister lives in Scottsdale and I will only visit her between October and April. I went for a visit a couple of years ago in July for my nephew's birthday and being outside felt like when you open the oven door to look in on your casserole (or whatever), only on your whole body. Yeah, it's dry heat, but it's crazy freaking hot!
Living in the 'dirty' south, I might have to take issue with this Old Spice study. When you begin sweating after stepping out of the shower (yes, you can tell a difference between being wet and being sweaty) it's pretty dad-gum gross. I literally have to blow dry my hair on low heat while standing over the air conditioning vent in the bathroom, just so not to melt, even at 5am!!! It's quite nasty. Oh, and try exercising outside. I often ask myself, "What ARE you doing?" Maybe we should all move to SF and have a summer high of the upper 60's. Um wait, I'm too poor. Alas, I must go turn up the A/C.
